I commend you for your hard work and ethical “high road” dealing with such a slimy low road of political corruption at city hall.

Your perception of what is really going on is crystal clear.
The mayor’s cabal and cronyism among “her dishonor’s” 2 loyal soldiers is apparent.

Her ability to get a judge to agree to a illegal veto is remarkable and shows the “big boys” backing her, (and their plans for our village) do have complete power, that of course is corrupt power.

The saddest part is this “sudden illness” of enough council members, “her dishonor” included, keep the real citizen representatives from even having a special meeting to call for one last council meeting.

Everything truly important to the citizens and their well being is being thrown under the bus, or trolley in Eureka terms.

Only ONE of the new council members understands the budget, and will watch the money. Thank God for Beverly running again!

Berry and DeVito have already declared “no micromanaging” so they have no intention of delegating the expenditures of the citizens hard earned dollars that are being collected for services for the citizens.

Despite your hours of work and research, you have been undermined consistantly and methodically, by “her dishonor” and main mouth piece, Zeller.

Once again, I thank you for your courage, speaking the truth, and bringing the real infrastructure problems, (and possible disasters), be it the Black Bass Dam, or sewer expansion(impact fees) that would not stick it to the citizens with Water and Sewer rate increases, to the council table.

Without one single voice on city council looking out for the interests of the residents, the next two years may well be stupendously dismal for those who consider ES their home rather than a theme park.

Look for wasting more city funds on more studies, possibly opening up the underground to the tune of millions to benefit the mayor’s ghost tours business, and infrastructure further ignored and falling into disrepair while the city spends funds on fences along Main and other assorted gingerbread. Don’t be surprised if someone falls and gets heinously injured on the crumbling stairway leading from Armstrong down to the parking lot where the outdoor cinema was held. The callous disregard of our city government for our infrastructure (sidewalks, streets, sewer pipes and on and on) leaves the city wide open for devastating law suits.

I doubt the governance of ES will get well anytime during the next two years. It’s very sick. Very sick indeed.

You were the one commissioner and council critic who touted direct questioning of individuals, if you did not know someone’s stance or answer to a question……in fact you invited folks to question you for your decision not to run.

Seems after seeing your buddy, boy-toy Patrick was the only one signing up, the slanted vote you counted on was in place, & your strong desire to represent your district, was a farce to split the vote.

Insinuations are yours to answer for. Mean? Think you know more about coming from that position than well meaning citizens who had the guts, fortitude and integrity to serve.

Perfect attendence only when the mayors agenda depended on their vote to kill any legislation for the citizens interest, is perfect only in serving her “honor’s” homies and promises made to them, so PERFECT is the vote outcome for the big boys$, and buracrates really running this city

When it came to budget meetings, impact fee meetings or any important discussions of sub-committees, their record of attendence was abysmal.
They never came, oh, Patrick did for a couple, but Rae, Harrison and Ken could be counted on for showing up.

Until you have served 2 or 10 years as some have, don’t see how you can comment on anyone’s attendence.
