There will be a candidates’ forum this Tuesday night, April 29, beginning at 6:30. It will be at the Carroll County Electric Coop.
Seats to be filled include those for County Judge, County Sheriff, County Clerk, State Representative, and Circuit Judge. If opposed, candidates have six minutes to speak; three minutes if unopposed.

FEMA is setting up a Disaster Recovery Center for victims of recent flooding in Carroll County, AR. They will be in Eureka Springs, AR, April 30, and May 1st and 2nd, 9-6, at the Best Western Inn at the top of Planer Hill in Eureka.

We just couldn’t keep it a secret. There’s good fishing at Black Bass Lake. We ran into husband and wife, John and Marcia Tillan, along with Marcia’s brother Lee Toal. I used worms for blue gill when I was little. These folks used crickets. I say, “Go crickets!”
