The Patriot’s Herald has succeeded itself. The Pryors have been bought out, and a new owner is at the helm. We don’t know at present what policies will be on diversity but we do know that Pryor was at odds with his board over his hard-nosed exclusions.

At the Council meeting of December 10, 2007, Mayor Joy claimed she had reviewed matters showing that Ald. Kathy Harrison did not call for a point of order at the end of the last meeting.

Ald. Eric Scheunemann set up a meeting with an opposition group in Eureka Springs to try to break the deadlock resulting from Mayor Dani Joy’s actions against her own Council. The group have been vehemently opposed to the actions of a majority on Council, rallying in support of the Mayor.
